Adult Bible Classes

Adult Bible classes take place throughout the week to encourage the reading and studying of God's Word, as well as to provide opportunities to pray for and with one another.

Men's Bible Class

We've started a new video based study  featuring Dr. Paul L. Maier entitled "How We Got The Bible". As an expert on this subject, Dr. Paul Maier, who is the Russell H. Seibert professor of ancient history at Western Michigan University, has profound insights regarding the production, canonization, and inspiration behind the texts that comprise the Scriptures. Dr. Maier shares his expertise and enthusiasm on the preservation and transmission of God's Word through the centuries.

Soul Sisters Women's Ministry

Women: Seniors in high school to seniors in life...are invited to join the Soul Sisters Women's Ministry.  Soul Sisters' activities can be found posted on the Soul Sisters bulletin board in the Church narthex or on the Soul Sisters: CTK Women's Ministry Facebook page.

Church Cookbook

We're still compiling recipes for a church cookbook. There is a wooden collection box on the Soul Sisters cabinet in the narthex. Please submit as many as you can. Ideally, we need 225 to 240 recipes so please look through all your favorites, including appetizers, main dishes, side dishes, soups, salads, breads/rolls, cookies/candy, bars/desserts, drinks, or anything else you enjoy and want to share. Deadline is August 1, 2024 so we can have it ready for Thanksgiving.

Camp Luther Women's Retreat

Registration is now open for the Camp Luther Women's Retreat, September 27th-29th. This year's main speaker is Michelle Diercks, whose theme will be Promised Rest, digging into the promises of God and the peace His presence provides amidst the storms and sorrows of life. You can register either on-line or by calling the camp at (715) 546-3647. There is a sign-up sheet at our desk to see how many are interested in traveling together as we did last year. The camp is first come/first serve and fills up quickly so don't wait to register. See Sally Wallner for any questions.

Summer Events

We have a lot of fun things planned this summer, including a church picnic, family drive-in movie night, and a ladies fall fashion show with Modern Drift boutique, on September 19th. Music Night will also return with the Negaunee Gospel Choir. So many opportunities for fun and fellowship!
